Fisher students were challenged for the recent PARP program (Pick a Reading Partner) to read 2,025 books as a school in a 10 day span. If they accomplished this goal, Mr. Murphy agreed to get slimed. With 2,266 books read, Mr. Murphy gladly held up his end of the bargain with a fun end-of program assembly.

A distinguish guest helped with the sliming of Mr. Murphy for the PARP assembly- Mrs. Murphy!

Mr. Murphy had so much slime poured on him that Mr. Pagnotta had to help into a trash bucket to roll him out of the gym. Thanks to Mr. P for his quick thinking! It was a great way to end a wonderful reading program. Mr. Murphy was happy to be slimed, as he was so proud of his students for reading all those books!

Today students and staff Rocked their Craziest Socks to promote and bring awareness to World Down Syndrome Day. Thanks to Mrs. Reff's class for leading the charge as we had many folks rocking their favorite socks in school!

Mr. Rich, Central Valley's Superintendent, visited Ms. Judware's grade 1 class as a guest reader on 1/23/25.
