Field Day information
Good evening Fisher families. Please review the below information with regards to our upcoming Field Day on Monday 6/15.
1. I will alert families Sunday June 14 if the event is moved to the rain date of Wednesday June 17th.
2. If parents are planning on taking their child(ren) home after the event, please adhere to the below procedures for a smooth sign
out process. This is necessary for our legal obligation to properly document student attendance throughout the day.
A. Once the activities are completed, teachers will escort your child(ren) that are leaving early out the main gate entrance to
reunite with you.
B. Once you have your child(ren), make your way to the three tables (separated by student grade PK, K, or 1st) near the blue
shed. I will have staff there to provide assistance in finding student names by class on the sign out sheets. Parents are then to affix their signature next to their child's name. Families then will exit campus.
3. Students who are staying for the remainder of the day will be escorted by classroom aides through the side gate entrance
adjacent to the scoreboard and return to the building for lunch and the resumption of the day.
If you could alert your child's teacher if you are taking your child home after the completion of Field Day, that would help them to bring your child's backpack with them as students leaving early will not be permitted back into the building upon their dismissal.
