Reminder message #2

Good afternoon Fisher Families.

Before you begin your activities for the weekend, and it being the first weekend in August, I wanted to take a moment to send a second message giving some reminders and updates on activities upcoming as we ready ourselves for another school year!


Pre-K Practice Bus Run:
Thursday August 20th- This is an opportunity for our new PK students and their parents to practice their bus pick up from their homes, drive up to Fisher, and put a face to my name as I introduce myself to our newest students.  More specifics to come from our transportation department on when your child is to be picked up forthcoming.

Parent Orientation Night (UPDATED CHANGE):
Tuesday August 25th from 5:30-7:00pm in the Fisher cafeteria-  I will be speaking to families interested in knowing 'how things are done' at Fisher, open the floor up to questions, and hopefully have time for a tour if anyone is interested.

Kindergarten and First Grade Open House:
Tuesday September 2nd from 5:00-6:00pm- this is a time for our returning Kindergarteners and First Graders to bring their school supplies, set up their desks in their rooms, and get themselves settled for the start of classes on Tuesday September 8.  Outside vendors will also be available for parents to talk to regarding outside resources available to families.

Updates supply lists for each grade level are posted on our district website

Parentsquare is our means of communicating with the community.  
I use parentsquare to send home photos of student achievements, upcoming reminders, event notification, and other pertinent information parents of each student need to know.
Teachers use parentsquare to send home photos of student achievement and classroom activities, as well as student updates.

Please download the app ​and set up your account via the ​App store or Google Play so you don't miss any important messages from me ​or your child's teacher.
