Mid August reminder message

Good afternoon Fisher Families.

As we continue to progress through August and get closer to our September opening, here are again some reminders for your consideration.

Pre-K Practice Bus Run:
Thursday August 20th, 7:30-8:30am- This is an opportunity for our new PK students and their parents to practice their bus pick up from their homes, drive up to Fisher, and put a face to my name as I introduce myself to our newest students.  
I CONFIRMED WITH THE BUS GARAGE THAT PK FAMILIES HAVE BEEN SENT THEIR BUS RUNS FOR THIS THURSDAY'S BUS RUNS, SO PLEASE BE READY AT YOUR ASSIGNED BUS STOPS AT 7:30 TO BE PICKED UP.  

Parent Orientation Night:
Tuesday August 25th, 5:30pm until ?- I will be speaking to families interested in knowing 'how things are done' at Fisher, open the floor up to questions, and hopefully have time for a tour if anyone is interested.  PARENT ONLY PLEASE, NO CHILDREN.

Kindergarten and First Grade Open House:
Wednesday September 2nd, 5:00-6:00pm- This is a time for our returning Kindergarteners and First Graders to bring their school supplies, set up their desks in their rooms, and get themselves settled for the start of classes on Tuesday September 8.  There will be outside vendors available for parents to discuss their services at tables set up at the entrance.

Updates supply lists for each grade level are posted on our district website

Every family should have received their child's teacher assignment, as well as a message with links to important information earlier this month.

Parentsquare is our means of communicating with the community.  
I use parentsquare to send home photos of student achievements, upcoming reminders, event notification, and other pertinent information parents of each student need to know.
Teachers use parentsquare to send home photos of student achievement and classroom activities, as well as student updates.

Please download the app and set up your account via the App store or Google Play so you don't miss any important messages from me or your child's teacher.
