September “F”ilanthropy 

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We will be collecting donations for Anna’s Sunflower Warriors. Anna’s Sunflower Warriors is an organization dedicated to supporting children who are receiving treatment in pediatric oncology. The organization works to make sure that children have goodies and snacks to make their days a little brighter while they’re going through treatment. We’re looking to collect items to help fill Anna’s Sunflower cart that is available to patients during their appointments at Albany Med Melodies Center. 

We’re looking for the following items, but are not limited to just these:

-Individually wrapped snacks: goldfish, pretzels, chips, etc.

-Individually wrapped candies: lollipops, chocolate, etc.

Collection Dates: September 22nd-September 30th

Please send your donations in with your child and we will have a table setup for all of the donations.
